Traction Labs
We've been servicing, repairing and tuning suspension since the second half of 2022 under the banner of our parent company TLS (The Local Spokesman). In the early days of the business we made very deliberate choices to limit the kind of services available out on the road, but once we had commercial workspace those limits disappeared! It took 36 months to complete the necessary training, build up experience on 'test products' and equip the service area with the right tools and parts. Since then, we've been proudly servicing, repairing and tuning Fox, RockShox, Marzocchi, Ohlins and DVO products for our riders.
Our Process
Every bike and rider is different. Before the tear-down, we assess every shock in the hand dyno to check the effectiveness of the adjusters as well as to listen out for unwanted noises.
When riders feel like they aren't getting the best performance out of their stock suspension, we work with them to decide the best way foward - from a full factory rebuild, to air spring tuning, to custom compression and rebound valving.
